RKH Constructors was established in 1981 with a focus on integrating the best talents in customized home building, expert craftsmen, visionaries in architecture, creative designers, and client relationships. Our broad-based expertise works to enhance your experience in building any home design, from an elegantly simple ranch style to the most sophisticated utilization of steel and glass.
We begin each project by creating an open line of communication with our clients to effectively build your desired home. Every team member and carefully selected subcontractor is closely guided and involved throughout the entire building process to ensure we support you as the client, and provide the highest quality construction. All aspects of the latest construction-allied technology are handled with a focus on details which include: specialized control systems, heating/cooling, lighting, audio-visual, and more.
Our meticulous process and decades of experience has enabled us to predict most construction challenges that may arise during the various phases of construction; this allows us to resolve such challenges quickly and efficiently. We are extremely diligent in making sure that every detail is just right!

RKH Constructors produce a dependable and comprehensive design plan and review of cost projection analysis. Should there be a need for changes, we will notify you as to all of the alternatives that are available. We utilize Sage 100 Contractor software for budget reporting and payments. Our company is committed to the planning, scheduling, and management of your project with the promise of delivering your completed dream. Moreover, we will be there for you after completion to help you fine-tune your new home for a lifetime of enjoyment. 

Remodel vs. Renovation

Whether you choose to renovate or remodel your home, our goal is to update and revitalize your home while staying true to its most valued elements. Renovation is a way to restore the original features of the home, while keeping the same purpose and structure.  Remodeling means changing the look and layout of your space, not merely updating or adding specific touches to the home.

Our company currently has 16 full-time employees, with 3 full-time office staff members. Each project is assigned to a dedicated Project Manager. The Project Manager is the leader in planning, resourcing, monitoring, and executing. They will manage the entire job through to completion. The continuity assured by full supervision at the job site and a dedicated Project Manager yields the best overall management for the client. We pride ourselves on being very hands-on during the entire project.

We typically opt for larger structural remodels or estate projects. RKH Constructors are experts with municipal and county processing to expedite startup and completion. We will collaborate with the design team to help schedule, budget, and assist them in choices and constructability concerns during the pre-construction phase of the work.  We find our best projects are the ones in which the client and members of the team all share the same vision.
We manage 3 to 5 projects at any one time. We purposely limit the number of projects we engage in to provide our clients with the highest level of quality construction. The office management is in the background to render support, but the day-to-day details are managed at the site by our Project Manager. This allows for optimal oversight of the client’s project.
Much of the specialized work: concrete, plumbing, electrical, heating, drywall tile, etc. is provided by licensed and insured subcontractors. We bring gifted artisans to the project for special finishes and treatments. Over the years, we have identified the leading craftsmen in any one area of work, who can be brought to the project as needed. Most of our subcontractors and vendors have worked with us for many years and have become part of our extended team of professionals.
We will always provide a price for the project, usually after we have been selected as the Construction Manager or the General Contractor. We prefer to negotiate contracts with owners. RKH Constructors provides cost consultation services once we are the selected contractor or manager for the project. This allows us to focus our efforts on clients who seriously want us to undertake their projects.
